Bacup Social Enterprise
BaSE is a Social Enterprise located in the Lancashire market town of Bacup.
We operate from the Community Focus building on Market Street and are usually open 9-30am to 4-30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. During the coronavirus pandemic we are working from home so please use the contact form if you want to get in touch.
We offer a variety of services that support both the community groups and businesses of Bacup and surrounding areas.

Support and advice for your group with help to develop your ideas
We can help you with policies and procedures to get your group up and running and keep you up to date and legal. Stuck moving forward with your ideas? We can help you there too.

We can work with you to complete grant funding application forms and provide project management.
Funding & Business Advice
We can help plan your strategy and identify relevant funding and work with you to acquire the best financial solution to meet your business needs.
Change for Life Cookery Courses ( Cook 'n' Eat )
We can deliver bespoke cookery courses (Cook 'n' Eat) using ‘Change for Life’ recipes in a community setting to accommodate your needs, i.e. training/education/fun etc. We have the equipment to utilise five mobile cooking stations allowing ten participants to attend at any one time.
Development / Training / Workshops & Education
If you feel any of the above are needed for your group or community business we can provide these things for you or facilitate the provision of where we can’t.
Varied Volunteering & Work Experience Roles
Our activities provide excellent opportunities for you to engage with us as a volunteer or work experience trainee.
I Have An Idea
BaSE are always on the lookout for new initiatives to boost the economy and offer in Bacup and are working behind the scenes with various ideas that could prove productive, not only for Bacup but for the whole of Rossendale.
